Ensuring that every Kenyan has access to quality healthcare services by fully implementing Universal Health Coverage and improving healthcare infrastructure.

Our commitment

Healthcare is a fundamental right under Article 43 of the Constitution. The DCP is dedicated to reducing healthcare costs, improving infrastructure, and ensuring Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

The plan

    Expand UHC to cover all Kenyans by integrating primary and secondary health services.

    Strengthen the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) to enhance efficiency and reach.

    Reduce medical service costs through bulk procurement and negotiations.

    Upgrade healthcare facilities in underserved areas and train more healthcare professionals.
